Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a British-American sitar player and music artist. She is also the very first and youngest female to receive an award from the British House of Commons Award. Anoushka Shankar is a rising star on sitar music. Indian sitar. She's the child of Ravi Shankar and a former student. She was born in 1982 in London. Her early years included a period of time between London and New Delhi. As a teenager, her first show in New Delhi took place. When she moved to Encinitas CA in 1999 she received a high-school certificate. Anouskha's career as a musician and performer is impressive, despite her youth. Her father has been with her in many performances for some time. Her debut self-titled album Anourag in the year 1998. The following year, she released the Grammy nomination-winning Live in Carnegie Hall. Since she's performed at all the major stages in the world, her performance career has been extensive. Anoushka isn't just a performer. In 2002, she released the book Bapi The love of My Live this is a picture-based biography, which gives a special honor to her late father Ravi Shankar. Also, she appeared in movie in 2003. The role she played was that of an Bharat Natyam dancer in Dance Like a Man. Anoushka is continuing to advance on her path and there will be many more things to come from this talented lady.
