Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the United States. Her most well-known character was in the role of Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for acting in the Preparatory school, after which she moved to Ohio together with her family during the late 1970s. Theatre studies were through Northwestern University. A semester was spent at the British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint performing in Chicago the theatre before moving to TV and film roles. Anna had her biggest break in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. In addition, she was on Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. It was not until the end of the 1990s when she was cast in the role of The Practice. The mid-2000's saw her was placed in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played Martha Bullock on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). She also starred in the Deadwood film as well as Sully. Gunn also took to the stage starring in the David Schwimmer-directed production of Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn also was a part of a four-part audio-play show named "Numbered days". The romance that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the narrative on Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and the eventual end of their relationship mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final years of his life.
